• Each unit is 16cm x 16cm x 19cm.
The pots are best positioned outdoors, on a windowsill or garden table for example, and can be set up at any time of the year (although early Spring and Autumn are the very best times to start).
All cardboard packaging is made from 100% recycled card and vegetable inks and can be safely composted. The coir discs are made from the natural fibres found on the outer shell of coconuts which expand when water is added.
The seed balls from Seedball's HQ in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout.
Seedballs were created by Ana and Emily - two conservations scientists who met while studying at university. Conservation is in their hearts and souls and they want to fill the world with wildflowers - starting with your garden!
